Growing tomatoes
Tomatoes are the number 1 favorite vegetable, right? If they are also home-grown tomatoes, you maximize the enjoyment even more. Tomatoes are an easy-to-grow crop that suits both beginners and the more experienced grower. However, tomato plants can vary greatly in size, so it is important to choose a variety that is adapted to the space you have available. Think about it this way:
Indoors/balcony: choose a dwarf bush/ pot tomato or hanging tomato that has a lower or hanging growth habit and is well suited to growing in a pot.
Larger areas (open field in a protected & sunny location or greenhouse): then you can also choose taller varieties of, for example, cherry , plum or beefsteak tomatoes which need support. These varieties are grown directly in a flower bed or larger pot (min. 10 liters) and therefore need to be tied up.
In our assortment we have selected our absolute favorite tomatoes, selected based on taste, aesthetics and their growing value. We hope you will find something you like!
