New Botanic's Code of Conduct
New Botanic offers carefully curated growing collections of flower bouquets and vegetables, beautifully packaged together with growing details, knowledge and inspiration. New Botanic wants to get more people to put their fingers in the soil and discover the charm and pleasure of growing and harvesting their own vegetables and flowers.
Scope of the Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct is New Botanic's benchmark for how our business is conducted ethically, socially and environmentally.
This code of conduct describes how New Botanic views its responsibility as a company, and what responsibility employees have, as well as what requirements the company places on suppliers. The code applies to all employees, regardless of the form of employment. We request that all employees read and accept the regulations and apply them in all our operations.
Starting point
As a basis for the code of conduct, reference is made to the UN Global Compact's ten principles for responsible business. New Botanic stands behind the principles and strives to apply and support them throughout its operations. The company also wants subcontractors to take responsibility for the ten principles and for ongoing dialogue about how this is done. If local, national or international legislation imposes stricter requirements than the Code of Conduct, these must be followed.

Environmental responsibility
Our goal is to contribute positively to the environment by allowing you to become more self-sufficient in certain vegetables (locally grown) and grow your own cut flowers, which means that you reduce the environmental impact from that part of the cultivation industry.
New Botanic strives to take the environment into account in several parts of the business and take environmental impact into account in business decisions. Our goal is to reduce our climate and environmental impact per product sold. We continuously review where we have our biggest impact and how we can work to reduce it, we make conscious choices about purchases. When purchasing seeds, packaging and other inputs, we must choose sustainable alternatives whenever possible. This involves, among other things, choosing recycled material for packaging as much as possible for packaging and increasing the proportion of organic inputs. What is the most sustainable alternative is continuously evaluated.
New Botanic must continuously discuss with its subcontractors how to promote sustainable transport, and we must continuously work to reduce the impact from storage, distribution and wastage.
We have ongoing dialogue with our subcontractors to understand how they work in the environment and climate, and to encourage them to make sustainable choices.
