How to grow microgreens - our best tips
Microgreens are for those who want cultivation with quick results - a little over a week after sowing, you can harvest tasty and nutritious microgreens that you top your sandwich, soup or salad with. Sow the seeds in a beautiful cup or on a plate and leave it on the dinner table - then you can follow the rapid progress of the sprouts day by day. Microgreens are truly a superfood – packed with vitamins, antioxidants, minerals and chlorophyll! Microgreens come in a variety of varieties – we like the broccoli variety which has a lovely crunch and flavour!

WHEN SOWING
So indoors all year round. Sprinkle approx. 20-30 seeds evenly over a cultivation briquette or pot/dish filled with planting soil. The seeds are light-germinating, so cover them only about 0-2 mm.
Cover the seed with transparent cover with air holes (eg, a plastic film, a recycled plastic bag or a plastic lid, provided with air holes).
Water regularly with lukewarm water – the seed must always be kept moist!
SOME DAYS AFTER SOWING
Give light. As soon as the seed has germinated and sprouted, usually after 1-2 days, it needs light. Remove the cover and place the pot in a bright and cooler place. Broccoli does not require as much light as the other plants, but please place in a sunny window or in a bright place.
HARVEST FESTIVAL
Harvest and enjoy. You can harvest already 10-15 days after sowing. Preferably when they got their first character sheets, ie. the pair of leaves that comes after the first 2 leaves (the so-called cotyledons). Faster harvest for you looking for!
