Phaseolus vulgaris
DESCRIPTION
This purple-violet bean was one of the reasons we started growing it in the first place. The long, dark beans growing on a winding foliage are just so pretty. The pods are long, scaly and good to eat lightly cooked. Generous and hardy. Can be grown on a balcony in a larger pot with climbing support.
