DESCRIPTION
A truly lovely sweet pea with large lilac flowers that smell fantastic. Grows on long, strong stems which makes it excellent for cutting. Very productive - the more you pick, the more it blooms. Get in the habit of picking a daily bouquet that will decorate your home and spread a lovely scent.

SOWING AND HARVESTING SWEET PEA
We learned how to grow sweet peas from sweet pea expert Cecilia Wingård. With her advice below, we usually get good results .
Growing location : Grown outdoors/in a flowerbed or in a pallet collar in a sunny location (6-7 hours of sun/day).
Sow sweet peas indoors from v.12. Sow in pots measuring approximately 9*9 cm that are filled with potting soil. Make sure to pack the soil firmly and water thoroughly. Sow up to 20 seeds in the same pot and fill with 2-3 cm of soil. Water carefully. Place the pot in a plastic bag that is open at the top – this will be like a mini greenhouse. The seeds usually germinate within 10-20 days.
Place outside. When the plants are about 10 cm tall, they can be placed outdoors. They can withstand temperatures down to -8 degrees. Place the pot with the plastic bag on and let them grow there. You will then get plump and strong plants.
Plant the sweet pea in good quality, nutrient-rich soil. Plant against a trellis or build a plant tower using, for example, bamboo poles that the sweet pea can climb.
Water with nutrients about once a week. Sweet peas are water and nutrient guzzlers, so make sure to pamper them thoroughly for maximum harvest.
Harvest every day when the sweet peas have started to flower. Allowing them to go to seed will reduce the production of new flowers. Cut the stem with sharp secateurs and place immediately in cold water.
