Hyacinth house

We want to try to grow hyacinths in the spring onion bed. Woodstock is an incredibly beautiful variety with long dark stems adorned with purple flowers. It will definitely be a bold addition to the bed. An extra bonus is the lovely scent. Hyacinth can also be planted in a pot that is placed in a cool but frost-free place, such as a garage or storage room. Take it out when the spring heat comes and wait for the flowering.

Flowering time: April-May
Height: 25-30 cm
Number of bulbs: 5 bulbs
Onion size: 17/18

Planting advice
Plant the hyacinth bulbs about 3 times as deep as their height. Approximate distance between the bulbs 7-10 cm. Hyacinth thrives in sun to partial shade and does not like to stand wet - make sure the soil is well drained. Let the leaves wither after flowering so the bulbs get new strength for next year.
