Dill
DESCRIPTION
Here we have a flower with strong growth potential! Inflorescences strewn with small bright yellow flowers that grow on tall stems, making it excellent as a cut flower. Fluffs beautifully in a bouquet and flower bed. The green lobed foliage provides lush greenery and is a good flavoring in sauces, marinades and seafood.
Dill is a hardy annual, meaning it can withstand some frost and can therefore start to germinate early in the season without suffering damage. These varieties are good to sow in the fall, which saves you both time and space in the spring when everything is much more intensive with the crops.

SOWING AND HARVESTING DILL
Growing location : Grown outdoors/in a flowerbed, in a pallet collar or larger pot on the balcony in a sunny position (6-7 hours of sun/day - semi-shady position (3-5 hours of sun/day).
Sow outdoors when the soil has warmed up (April-June) in well-fertilized potting soil. Water the soil thoroughly before sowing. Stick the seeds about 0.5 cm into the soil with a plant distance of about 30 cm and a row distance of about 30 cm. Mark the sowing with markers - indicate the variety and date. To extend the harvest period, the dill can be sown in batches during the season.
Water gently from above so as not to wash away the seeds. Keep moist during germination. Make sure to water continuously throughout the season - dill does not like drought.
Thin the plants if you have planted them too densely. This will give the plants enough room to grow.
Harvest dill as the season progresses. It often grows back where it was cut. Use the flowers and leaves in bouquets, as decoration or as a flavoring.
